Syrah (2017)

Dark fruit flavors from sweet mulberry to savory black olive. Our Syrah has a front loaded burst of flavor that tapers off and then has a spicy, peppery yet soft note on the finish. Though complex, it is soft on the palate and can be enjoyed with or without pood pairings. Estate grown Grenache makes our 2018 Rose intense and rich in color and flavorful hints of green apple and perfectly ripened strawberries. Batia Vineyards is proud to introduce a 2017 vintage involving the blending of two Rhone Varietals, Roussanne with its most favored varietal companion, Viognier.
